HeyQL was born from a simple idea: what if anyone could "talk" with their data?

I'm Jaime Villar, a Software Engineer from Panama and the solo founder behind HeyQL. For years, I saw talented teams struggle to get quick answers from their databases, relying on technical bottlenecks or complex spreadsheets.

As a solopreneur, I decided to build the solution I always wanted: a tool that removes the barrier between questions and answers, allowing curiosity, not SQL knowledge, to drive decisions. HeyQL is the result of that vision.
